I know teleporters come into play at some point, but apparently not everything can be teleported.ĭo you have a large Black Forest base/ small outpost, or do you simply haul all your copper/ tin back home to the Meadows? The plan is to have a few of these outposts about a days walk from the main base in every direction so that we’re never far from a warm fire/ respawn point. We have a large Meadows base, and 2 small outposts one in the Black Forest (our “West Outpost”), and another about a days walk in the other direction from our base, still in the Meadows, but near the base of a mountain (“East Outpost”). I’d like to discuss the general philosophy for bases that we’ve been using and see how it compares to yours, as well as compile any tips related to defending ones base. Our Black Forest base took a whoppin from a Troll last night, and it had me thinking about ways to build defensible bases outside the noob zone.
